Photos w/ Santa &  Holiday Crafts @ American Family DreamBank
Saturdays | December 9th, 16th, 22nd
Santa will be on-hand 10 AM - 1 PM for photos. Pictures with Santa will be first come
first served. Your name will be added to the list as you arrive. Also enjoy free hot cocoa and
a holiday craft workshop 10 AM - 3 PM.

Make & Take Crafts at Michael's Stores  - $2
Kids Club offers make -n- take crafts for young kids, and are themed by season
or holiday. Find the schedule and festive projects on select Saturdays from 10 AM - 12 PM
at your local Michael's - schedule may vary by store.

Holiday Crafts & Winter Break Activities at Libraries  - FREE!
Your local library may be hosting a special holiday craft (several coordinate
gingerbread cookie activities); as well as winter break activities for school-age
(& younger) children.  You can easily click on the calendar or website of your
favorite library on our library directory on this site.

The gardens are open daily to view a festive display of large-scale model trains winding through whimsical
birdhouses and hundreds of colorful poinsettias! [*Closes @ 2pm on Dec 24th, Closed Christmas Day]

Holiday Fantasy in Lights @ Olin Park – FREE*
Daily, Dusk to Dawn through January 2nd
Madison’s favorite holiday light display, features a festive path of illuminated holiday structures – makes for a
memorable car ride with the kids after dusk. Don’t forget your free candy cane on the way out.
*Donations appreciated.

Zoo Lights -  $ (Admission applies for this event)
Thursdays thru Sundays, through December 31st at 5 PM - 9 PM
New in 2016! Thousands of lights will transform the zoo into a winter wonderland. Santa will be around, along
with the carousel operating, both 5:30 PM to 8 PM nightly. The Glacier Grille is also open during Zoo Lights.
$7 admission (3 & under are free).

Visit Hann's Christmas Farm
Come by to create memories of an old fashioned Christmas. Bring the whole family to cut down a tree, pick a
pre-cut tree or holiday wreath, and enjoy much more while you’re there: Visit with Santa & Mrs Claus
weekends in December, find unique ornaments & special décor in the newly expanded Christmas Shop, hang
around to enjoy hot apple cider & popcorn, and let children play on the haystacks and play area.

Concerts & Holiday Displays at State Capitol
Find a complete schedule of happenings at the State Capitol this month! Various non-profit organizations,
ranging from schools, religious groups, choirs and service organizations are scheduled to sing, perform, or set-
up seasonal displays in & outside of the Capitol.
Of course, if you are downtown, be sure to view the
enormous holiday tree inside the Rotunda. Annual lighting ceremony will be on December
1st at 12 PM.

My Family New Years Eve - $
December 31st
Keva Sport in Middleton will continue the former US Bank Eve tradition for area families. Similar fantastic
family-friendly entertainment and activities will be happening at Monona Terrace Convention Center and Keva
Sports Center, along with Madison Ice Arena & Hartmeyer Arena. See event website for complete schedules,
including circus performances, magic show, inflatable fun, cookie decorating, balloon drops to ring in the New
Year (a bit earlier) and more.

Community Holiday Parties & Tree Lightings
Many communities hold holiday parties at a community center, or coordinate special activities in partnership
with downtown shopping areas such as tree lightings, hayrides and refreshments. Visit the website of your
