|Admission of $10/person includes many activities - a
playground for the entire family - including the giant
slippery slope slide and an easy, but educational corn
maze. Also find pumpkins and other gourds for sale; a
food cart is on site much of the day, or bring your own food
& beverage to picnic on the grounds.

|Eplegaarden takes pride in their old fashioned apple
orchard "vit da Norwegian exposure!" In addition to
self-pick apples, pumpkins, raspberries and market to buy
fresh cider & other goodies; the autumn weekends are
inviting for hayrides, folk music in the orchard & haunted

|Weekend festival activities include wagon rides to the
pumpkin patch, puppet shows, haunted house & the
Screamy Scary Silo. Every day (admission only $6
weekdays) offers petting farm, corn mazes, and other farm
activities including a huge sandbox & tricycles.
|Little Amerricka's Pumpkin Train | 700 E Main St, Marshall

|With the exception of the Meteor (roller coaster) and
Miniature Golf, the amusement park may have closed for
the summer, but the Whiskey River Railway takes
passengers on a ride through the peaceful countryside
where you can pick your own pumpkin to take home.
Admission of $6.95 includes the train ride and pumpkin.
Concessions will be open for food/beverage purchases;
passes available for miniature golf & the Meteor roller
coaster ride - weather permitting.

|This family farm is a spectacular setting for it's 7-acre corn
maze, which is "haunted" mid-October (see admission
rates for corn maze, hours vary). Enjoy a hayride to the
pumpkin patch (admission available for ride only, or
includes a pumpkin). Cost for the pumpkin patch or corn
maze also includes admission to the farm, offering other
activities such as a bouncy house, pedal tractors, kids
straw maze & more.

|Pecks is an inviting place to wander around the petting
zoo with numerous animals to see & touch. Weekends
offer hayrides and a huge corn maze (for a fee), and free
train rides in the fall. There is also a nice gift shop, a
couple of little haunted "barns" (to walk through at no
charge), and a big market with produce, cheese curds,
bakery items & much more. There is NO admission, and
there are also TV's set up outside to view Badgers &
Packers games and enjoy a picnic lunch or purchase a
brat & beverage.

|Enjoy a hayride to the U-pick pumpkin patch, activities
include a mini corn maze, a giant hay stack to climb, yard
games, goats, rabbits, kitten barn & more. Just some of
the food available for purchase includes hot apple cider &
pumpkin bars. No debit/credit cards accepted; cash &
check only. $3 admission include activity yard & hayride;
$3.50 for the 4-acre corn maze or $5 for both. See website

|The Great Pumpkin Givewaway|

@ Oak Bank, Fitchburg
|Join the Oak Bank for free pumpkins, refreshments and
kids activities at the 15th annual Great Pumpkin Giveaway.
This is an outdoor event that raises fund (through cash
donations) to benefit a local non-profit in the community.

||Monona Fall Festival
|Saturday - Sunday
@ Winnequah Park, Monona
|The Monona Fall Festival kicks off with the Hoot Hoot
Hustle 5 K run & 1-mile walk at 10:00 AM. Other weekend
activities include a chili cook-off, craft fair and book sale;
and Sunday is deemed Family Fun Day with tickets
available for purchasing concessions, and numerous
kid-friendly activities, games & attractions.
[2 PM - 5 PM are matinee hours
6 PM - 9 PM | Adults/12 & up
Admission $10 adults, $5 kids 12
|Walk the haunted trail to benefit the Dane County Humane
Society's Four Lakes Wildlife Center. Things get more
spooky after 6 PM (not recommended for kids under 12),
but the special matinee hours 2 PM - 5 PM are kid-friendly
& include trick-or-treating.
|Downtown Madison Family Halloween|
3 PM - 6 PM
@ State Street & Capitol Square
|Kids 12 & under can collect treats at participating
businesses on the Capitol Square and State Street.
Children's activities & entertainment will be offered at
several businesses & attractions downtown, including the
Overture Center, Madison Children's Museum, Capitol
Kids, Wisconsin Historical Society & more.

||Creepy Crawl & Trick or Treat

@ Military Ridge Trail & Main
Street, Mount Horeb
|Main Street will be lit with luminaries welcoming kids and
adults of all ages to participate in the Creepy Crawl and
Trick or Treat Main Street.
The Creepy Crawl event is a haunted hike on the Military
Ridge Trail from 4th Street to 2nd Street. Businesses on
both ends will also be handing out candy at the event.

||Halloween on the Farm

@ Schumacher Farm Park,
|In addition to games, crafts, and spooky things to explore -
such as the Haunted Prairie Hayride - families will enjoy
live entertainment by Ken Lonnquist, as well as the
Waunakee High School Orchestra & Folk Band. There will
be a bonfire with s'mores, storytelling & more.
Concessions will also be available.

||Great Halloween Hunt

|The Fitchburg Public Library and Friends of the Fitchburg
Library will be hosting its 10th annual Great Halloween
Hunt 6 PM - 9:30 PM. Activities include a scavenger hunt,
haunted house, games, crafts, magician, balloon twisting
and the movie, Alice in Wonderland, on a big screen.

||Halloween at the Zoo
9:30 AM - 3 PM
@ Henry Vilas Zoo, Madison
|Bring your own bag and parade through the organized
line of other costumed children, collecting treats from
booths of local businesses & organizations. The zoo is
open regular hours, there is also a big activity tent, and
photo opportunities with the mascot, Henry the Lion.

||Baby's First Halloween
9:30 AM - 11:30 AM
@ Madison Children's Museum
|Visit our photo booth to join our costume contest, enjoy
infant and toddler Halloween-themed (non-messy)
activities, a reading of Where the Wild Things Are, and join
the dance party in the Wildernest at 10:30! The party is free
with paid museum admission.
