Trout Days is a weekend event with village-wide garage
sales, brat stands, fishing contest, raffle & more. Hike the
Cross Plains section of the Ice Age Trail. Entertainment
at Zander Community Park on Saturday consists of a hog
roast, Lions Kiddie Train, & kids activities.

with arthritis information and activities for the entire
family, including a silent auction. Registration opens at

including a parade at 1:30 on Sunday, art fair, folk music,
several food stands operated by many non-profit groups,
traditional dance performances, face painting & several
running races and a canoe race! Many activities take
place downtown Stoughton, as well as River Bluff School
Campuses, parks & local businesses and organizations.

Join family teams, company teams and people walking
with friends for a great cause: making a difference for
real families right here in our community. Sign up and
raise money to help more moms have full-term
pregnancies and healthy babies.
Two routes will be available during this years walk. A
1-mile family fun walk around Olin Park or a 3-mile walk
along Capitol City Trail to Law Park and back to Olin Park
Mini Maker Faire

This family friendly event showcases the amazing work
of all kinds and ages of makers—anyone who is

Weekend activities include a carnival midway, kids’ tent

Brat Fest activities include several music stages, a
carnival, a 5K & 10K Bun Run, 1K Kids Mudstard Run,
fireworks Sunday at dusk, and other family-friendly
activities. All proceeds from the event benefit the many
local organizations that staff the food tents. Food
available for purchase includes brats, hot dogs, vegan
options, sweet corn & more.

Madison Marathon Kids Race

@ Capitol Square at MLK Jr Blvd
The Kids Spring Race kicks off the Twilight 5K & 10K
events, and is for participants ages 3 to 12 years old. This
.6 mile run is one loop around the Capitol Square.

Memorial Day Parade
10 AM to 1 PM
@ Monona Drive, Monona
Join us to honor our Veterans in Monona on Memorial
Day. The Parade starts at 4400 Monona Drive (near
Monona Grove High School) and runs south on the west
side of the drive to Owen Road. Veterans lead the
parade followed by community groups, businesses, and
entertainment acts!
Cambridge Memorial Day

    Space Place family workshops are offered every

    offer a free trial class so you can determine if it's
    a good fit for your child.

Library Activities
    Be sure to check out the many wonderful, free,
    kid-friendly events throughout the season at
    your local library. Activities often include
    recurring story times, plus other scheduled
    crafts, movies & special events. Nearly every
    library offers something unique in the
    designated children's area, so just hanging out
    looking at books or discovering something new
    can be a fun, yet peaceful way to spend a cold

Open Play or "Open Gym"
    Nearly a dozen places in & around Madison offer
    their facilities for 1-2 hours, or even all day for
    regular "open gym"  times throughout the week.
    Admission charges vary by venue, often
    dependent on age, from $4 to $8 and provide
    equipment to play, slide, jump; but most
    importantly a kid-friendly, safe environment for
    activity and social interaction (for mom or dad,
